If you want to move the preset folder for Serum, maybe to the HHD instead of the SSD, it is deceptively simple to do.

Before you launch Serum, simply take the entire “Serum Presets” folder and move it to the desired location.
Then, go and launch Serum. You will be asked to point to the “Serum Presets” folder.
Do that.
There you go. That’s all there is to it.
NOTE: For the latest Serum update (v1.20b9), released June 30, 2017, there is a new folder called Skins. If you are just trying to point Serum to your cloud storage version of the earlier version of Serum you will want to make sure that you keep the Skins folder and place it in the Serum Presets folder.
