We may need to work with Adobe XD graphics in Photoshop. Adobe XD does not provide a PSD export, and Photoshop does not provide an XD import. Converting it manually would take too much time, but it can be done automatically, see how!
- Drag the Photoshop file over the XD icon to open the file in XD (on Mac only). Right click the Photoshop file and select Open with XD from the context menu. When downloaded it is a.dmg file which needs to be expanded/unpacked, giving you a Finder folder containing the.xd files and SF Font assets.
- A DMG file is a Mac OS X system disk image file. Just as the ISO file use in Windows system installations, the files with DMG extension also use on Mac systems. Apple Mac OS X uses the files with.dmg extensions to install a software. If we explain what is the DMG file briefly, the DMG file extension only is used on the Apple MacOS systems.

Today (the beginning of 2020), Photopea is the best tool to convert XD graphics to Photoshop files. Go to Photopea.com to start a free online photo editor. If you see a Welcome Screen, you can close it by pressing the Cross in the top right corner.
Open an XD file from your computer: click File - Open (in the top left corner), then, find and select the XD file (or use drag and drop).

You should see the graphics of your XD file in front of you. Now, just click File - Save As PSD. And that's all! So simple :)
