Adobe Spark is an integrated suite of media creation applications for mobile and web developed by Adobe Systems.[1] It comprises three separate design apps: Spark Page, Spark Post, and Spark Video.[2]

Adobe Spark Page (formerly Project Luca) is a text and photo storytelling application for the iPad and iPhone developed by Adobe Systems in April 2015. It combines word processing, desktop publishing, text editing, and photo editing which is used to produce typed or photo-edited stories. Description[edit]

The service is a part of Creative Cloud, which created content are automatically saved on the cloud. The free Adobe Spark web app syncs with Spark Page, Spark Post and Spark Video iOS mobile apps, allowing users to create, edit and share their visual story from any device.[3] The three design apps allow users to create and design visual content that can be used for businesses, education, social media, etc.[4] Users may import/search pictures using any of the three applications, with only images tagged with the Creative Commons license being available with the search tool.[5]

Adobe released 3 mobile apps which included Voice in May 2014, Slate in April 2015, and Post in December 2015. The mobile apps were designed to be used for social media, websites, advertisements, and more. The apps were popular upon their release as Adobe Voice eventually was named Best App of the Year on the iOS App Store by Apple.[6]

While the 3 iOS apps were popular on the App Store, Adobe launched the Adobe Spark web tool in May 2016, which integrates the 3 mobile apps together for users on the web. With the made change, the three previous iPad and iPhone apps were renamed as Spark Post, Spark Page, and Spark Video.[7]

Adobe Spark Page[edit]

Adobe Spark Page (formerly Project Luca)[8] is a text and photostorytellingapplication for the iPad and iPhone developed by Adobe Systems in April 2015. It combines word processing, desktop publishing, text editing, and photo editing which is used to produce typed or photo-edited stories.

Adobe launched the Slate app on the web in October 2015 in order for Slate projects to sync automatically between the web and iPad versions using Creative Cloud.[9] It eventually became Adobe Spark Page.[10]

Adobe Spark Post[edit]

Adobe Spark Post is a social graphicsapplication for the iPad, iPhone, and Android device developed by Adobe Systems in December 2015. It combines text editing, desktop publishing, vector editing, and photo editing which is used to produce social media posts.[11]

Eventually in 2016, Adobe Post would become Spark Post due to the new Spark web tool. In 2018, the Spark team announced that Spark Post 2018 was now available for Android phones and tablets.[12]

Adobe Spark Video[edit]

Adobe Spark Video is a videostorytellingapplication for the iPad and iPhone developed by Adobe Systems in May 2014.[13] It edits users' voices, adds backing music, and then automatically generates animated motion graphics synchronizing the narration and corresponding visuals.[14]

It became the company's first application to be named by Apple as an App Store Best App of the Year[6] and has been downloaded over 3.5 million times.[15] It would then be renamed to Adobe Voice.[16]

Spark Login: Service Payroll Repository Kerala, SPARK is a portal that manages automatic payroll processing. The web portal comprises the uniformity of the rules and regulations. The main purpose of the SPARK Web portal is to provide employee services and making it fair and transparent. The Spark project management unit, PMU is a unit of the finance machinery that strives to provide the best support services to government employees.

The SPARK PMU is keen to extend services to Spark’s users (government employees) who belong to all departments. The project management unit is continually striving to provide the services with the best existing system. The SPARK services are improvised based on feedback and in-house research. The PMU consists of well-trained masters, MTs, Department Master Trainers (DMTs), and Spark helpdesk at District treasuries. The Spark PMU channels out to serve in many ways, such as call, email, chat, helpdesk centers, on-site support, etc.

Call Facility:

Spark users can avail of the benefit between 09:30 am to 05:30 pm. Master Trainers at SPARK PMU provide services to the issues over telephone calls or mailing. The helpdesk number is 0471-2579700, or

The spark users must forward the applications, error reports, service requests, and supporting documents if necessary. Master trainers analyze the documents and provide solutions over the mail, and MTs give further support over the phone calls.

Chat:

Spark Live Chat is another option, and the chat module is available on the Spark Login Page. The employees can seek query support by entering their name, PEN, and registered mobile number in SPARK.

PMU & Help Desk: District Level

The Spark users can visit district treasuries and regional desks in Kannur and seek solutions to their queries. At the help desk, the PMU encourages support on a “first come ‘first-serve” basis’ on introducing a token system.

On-site Support:

The SPARK PMU provides additional support by sending master trainers to the sites. It may happen during an event wherein a new office should have started or general transfers. The Master Trainers provide hands-on training at such office premises.

Spark Logins Procedure:

1st Step: To sign in to the Spark Dashboard, employees of Kerala must visit the Spark Official website i.e. www.spark.gov.in.

2nd Step: An individual will get access to the Service and Payroll Administrative respiratory for Kerala homepage and must click on the ‘spark login’ button.

3rd Step: The individual must enter the user code as login credentials. Here, the user code is the Permanent Employee Number (PEN). The individual must enter the login password and follow to enter the captcha code. The individual must click on the ‘submit button.’

Spark forgotten Password Recovery Process:

An individual may have forgotten the password and be unable to open the login page. The individual (employee) may be desperate to retrieve the password and for which the portal issues another password.

  1. An individual must enter the official spark website. Hit on the Sparklogin button, and click on the forgot password option.
  2. The individual must enter the PEN number as the login username and then continue. The portal will send an OTP to the registered mobile number.
  3. Insert the OTP number in the column, and click on the submit button. The individual must enter the new login password and re-enter the password, and then confirm the option.

Registration on Spark Portal:

1st Step: Visit the official spark website, and enter the home page of the website. The individual must click on the ‘new user register’: option.

2nd Step: An individual will get the Spark Registration page on the display as shown below.

3rd Step: Now, new Users must enter the permanent employee number on the login user name. The individual (employee) must enter the Name, Aadhar number, mobile number, email ID, and login password. Then, confirm the login password. The individual must confirm the login password and click on the verify option. Immediately, the individual will get an OTP on the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP, and click on the submit button.

4th Step: Thereby, the registration of the individual (employee) is complete.

Spark OnMobile Apps for Individuals’ Payroll:

The National Information Center (NIC) has created e-Government mobile apps for Kerala Government known as SPARK OnMobile. The finance department of the Govt. of Kerala manages the web portal on the Mobile app. The installation of the device is simple. The user must go to the play store and search for Spark OnMobile and when it opens, click the install button.

  1. After the installation of the apps on the Android Smart Phone, the user login is on display.
  2. The employee must enter the Permanent Employee Number, PEN, and enter the mobile number.
  3. The web portal will send a one-time OTP to the registered mobile number.
  4. Click on the ‘get started,’ and it means the employee complies with the terms of service & privacy policy.

The regular users of the SPARK can make an easy login as describes above. If it is for a new user, the employee must contact in person with the DDOs and provide them the updated Aadhar Card details. They will issue the permissions to access the SPARK portal and Mobile Apps.
